Shares of Hathway Cable and Datacom jumped 20 percent after company entered in to partnership with Netflix to offer video streaming services to its subscribers.Netflix said that it has partnered Hathway Broadband to offer video streaming services to the latter's eight lakh subscribers.     Shares of Merck fell 5 percent intraday today after Competition Commission of India has approved the acquisition of 51.8 percent stake in the company by Procter & Gamble Overseas. CCI has passed an order approving the transaction involving the proposed acquisition by Procter & Gamble Overseas India B. V. of 51.8 percent equity share capital of the company.

   Shares of Tata Consultancy Services hit a new high of Rs 2,099 per share in intra-day trade, rising 2% on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), trading close to their share buyback price of Rs 2,100 per share. The market-capitalisation hit the Rs 8-trillion mark on Tuesday, the third time it has achieved this feat ever in intra-day. Company said the current buyback is a capital allocation decision taken with the objective of improving the company’s Return on Equity and increasing shareholder value in the longer term

    JSW Steel (JSW), one of India’s largest steel makers, scaled fresh all-time high of Rs 408.65 last week. Tata Power Company has reported consolidated Q1FY19 net profit at Rs 1,769 crore, which includes one-time gain on sale of its investments of Rs 1,897 crore. The company had posted net profit of Rs 391 crore in the same quarter last fiscal. Revenue of the company was up 14 percent at Rs 7,313 crore against Rs 6,415 crore.
